customized two dolls to celebrate Halloween this year, one of my favorite festivities and times of the year. One of the dolls is inspired by La Llorona, a legend in latin american countries about the tormented ghost of a woman whose soul can't rest, she is also called the Banshee in european cultures. I painted her face to make her look creepy and made her an empire style dress, accessorized with chains... She is ready to haunt your dreams! The second doll resembles The Corpse Bride, from the Tim Burton movie, I used a Monster High Doll instead of a Barbie, this doll already had blue skin and hair, so I did not have to paint everything. But I did paint her face to make her look more like the character and I also painted her boney arm, leg, and a rib! I love the result! I hand painted the dress too, and handmade the bouquet. |
